The kitchen courtyard
The kitchen has immediate access to a traditional courtyard
that is surrounded by high stone walls. Underneath the
courtyards pergola the area is just right to enjoy a
cup of tea during the evening hours.
The parking area
The Villa has its own parking area for up to two cars.
From the parking area there is an entrance to the Villas
second living room.
The Villas architecture
The Villa is a renovated structure of
1864.
Throughout the building the traditional initial style
has been preserved. All the changes to the interior
design and the additions that were essential so the
house could offer all the modern amenities were done
with absolute respect to the traditional architecture
and the same material was used as well as the same techniques
in the construction as those of the 19th century. The
details of the construction show the consistency of
the owners to this architecture.

The region in which the Villa
is built
Villa Olympia is built on a hill on the northeastern
side of the island of Corfu and above the beautiful
beach of Kalami and the picturesque port of Kouloura,
where the English writer Lawrence Darrell has described
in the best words in his book Prosperous Cell.
The region in which the Villa is found is called Vigla
and is one of the most beautiful on Corfu.
The driving distance of Vigla from Kalami and Kouloura
is 4 kilometers.
